Itinerary: Durdle Door & Lulworth Cove Day Trip
Morning: Travel & Arrival
7:00 AM: Depart from Leighton Buzzard.
7:15 AM: Pick-up in Dunstable.
7:30 AM: Pick-up in Luton.
8:30 AM: Pick-up in Watford.
9:30 AM - 10:15 AM: Scheduled 45-minute comfort and refreshment break at a motorway service station.
12:00 PM (approx): Arrive at Lulworth Cove.
Afternoon: Exploring the Jurassic Coast
12:00 PM - 1:30 PM: Enjoy Lulworth Cove. You can admire the perfect horseshoe shape of the cove, formed by the sea eroding the soft clay behind a narrow band of limestone. There are visitor facilities and places to get a snack or a light lunch.
1:30 PM: Begin the walk to Durdle Door. The path is a steep climb up the hill, followed by a descent to the famous stone archway. Please wear appropriate footwear for uneven terrain.
1:30 PM - 4:00 PM: Explore Durdle Door. Take photos of the iconic arch and enjoy the views of the stunning coastline. You can relax on the shingle beach below the arch.
4:00 PM: Start the walk back to the coach park.
4:30 PM: Board the coach for departure.
Evening: Return Journey
4:30 PM: Depart from Lulworth
8:00 PM (approx): Arrive back in Leighton Buzzard.
Important Notes:
All timings are approximate and can be affected by traffic and unforeseen delays.
The walk between Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door is a significant uphill and downhill trek. It is highly recommended that you wear sturdy, comfortable footwear suitable for walking on uneven paths.
The Durdle Door beach is a steep walk down from the path. Access can be challenging.
Please bring appropriate clothes. Be cautious and aware of the tides.
Please stay on designated paths for your safety and to protect the fragile environment.
Bring a packed lunch, snacks, and water, as food options at the sites can be limited and expensive.

What's Excluded:
Food and Drinks: As you noted, the cost does not include meals or beverages. There are cafes and pubs in the nearby village of West Lulworth.

Personal Expenses: Any other personal spending, such as souvenirs, is not covered.

Terms & Conditions
1. Booking & Payment
A full deposit is required to secure your booking.
Bookings made at least two weeks in advance are eligible for a 10% early-bird discount.
Full payment must be received before the tour departure.
2. Cancellations by Client
Cancellations made more than 14 days before the tour: full refund of the total deposit.
Deposits made one week before the tour: if cancelled for any reason, the amount will be refunded after deducting 10%, or can be transferred to the next planned trip to the same or a different location.
Cancellations within 48 hours of the tour: 50% of the total paid amount will be refunded.
Cancellations within 14 days (without deposit conditions above): non-refundable.
3. Cancellations by Company
If the tour is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be issued, or an alternative date offered.
The company reserves the right to modify or cancel tours due to extreme weather, natural hazards, or other safety concerns.
4. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is strongly recommended for all guests.Insurance should cover personal accident, illness, loss of personal belongings, and cancellations.
5. Safety & Conduct
Guests must follow all instructions from company staff and guides to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.
Unsafe behaviour or failure to comply with instructions may result in removal from the tour without refund.
Company staff are trained in first aid and emergency procedures, and vehicles are equipped with safety kits.
6. Fitness & Accessibility
Moderate walking and mobility are required on most tours.
Guests must notify the company in advance of any mobility, health, or accessibility requirements.
The company will make reasonable efforts to accommodate special needs, but cannot guarantee full access to all locations.
7. Children & Dependents
A responsible adult must accompany children at all times.
Parents or guardians are responsible for the supervision and safety of children during the tour.
8. Weather & Environmental Conditions
Tours operate in most weather conditions.
Itineraries may be adjusted for comfort and safety, including rerouting or modifying activities.
The company is not responsible for delays or disruptions caused by natural or environmental events.
9. Liability & Legal Compliance
Participation in tours is at the guest’s own risk.
The company accepts no liability for personal injury, loss, or damage, except as required under UK law, including the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018.
Guests are responsible for their belongings and valuables throughout the tour.
10. Staff Safety
Guests must respect and cooperate with all company staff and guides to ensure the safety of both personnel and participants.
Any aggressive, abusive, or threatening behaviour toward staff will result in immediate removal from the tour without refund.
The company follows strict health and safety protocols, including vehicle maintenance, emergency procedures, and risk assessments for all activities.
11. Health & Infectious Diseases (including Covid-19)
Guests must not attend the tour if experiencing symptoms of contagious illness.
The company may implement additional health and safety measures in line with government guidance.
Guests failing to comply with health protocols may be refused participation.
